Betty Smith |She/Her/Hers
Betty Smith is thrilled to be making her debut on a New York stage in the UConn BFA Actors showcase. Her late grandmother, Betty Chapman, was known for her outgoing nature and love for theater arts. Betty carries out her legacy every day and began her professional career at thirteen years old. She has had the opportunity to perform in a variety of Connecticut Repertory Theatre productions, student films, and theater festivals in her time studying acting at UConn. Favorite credits include The Wolves (#13), Henry IV (Bardolph), and She Kills Monsters (Kalioppe). She was most recently nominated for the Irene Ryan Acting Award for her performance in Revolt She Said. Revolt Again. She will also be graduating with a minor from the School of Business, in hopes to be the most well-rounded theater professional she can be.
